Syrian forces are continuing their operations against ISIS.

On Tuesday, the operations were mostly focused on the town of Uqayribat, located in the eastern countryside of Hama province, where army units, together with their allies, carried out intense operations in direction of Jana Al Albawi village.

According to the field reports, full control was established over strategic hill of Al Mahsa near the village of Jana Al Albawi, located north of Uqayribat, a major ISIS hub.

The army units combed the hill completely as they dismantled all of the IEDs and landmines, left over by terrorists, in addition to discovering a network of tunnels.

In the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour, Syrian and Russian Air Force units launched intense strikes against ISIS positions, fortifications and supply routes at Alloush Hill, the surrounding areas of the graveyrds, and the road of Wadi Al Tharda.

At least 15 terrorists were killed, and a great number of them were injured, in addition to destruction of several vehicles, some of which were equipped with heavy machine-guns.

Clashes with ISIS terrorists were also raging in the graveyards and in Al Rashidiyeh neighborhood of Deir Ez Zour city, where several terrorists were killed.

Meanwhile, local sources from the city of Deir Ez Zour said that one of the buildings in Kanamat neighborhood totally collapsed due to explosion in the basement of the building (which was used by ISIS terrorists to manufacture explosives), killing all ISIS terrorists inside.

The sources added that a group of locals in the eastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour managed to free at least 50 detainees from one of the ISIS dens in the town of Gharanij, and transported them to safe places, noting that the locals also burned a tanker truck that was used by ISIS terrorists to transport the stolen crude oil from Buqros village.

The same sources also confirmed the death of Abu Mouaz Al Ordoni, a Jordanian terrorist and one of the security officials of ISIS in the so-called “Wali of the Area”. The terrorist’s body was discovered near Masaken Al Qitar, located north of Deir Ez Zour city. ISIS also executed Ali Radi, one of its press officials, after he reportedly tried to escape.

ISIS terrorists, however, kidnapped members of 6 families while they were trying to escape the area near Al Kasra town, located west of Deir Ez Zour, with women and children being forced to go back.
