Trams have completely stopped going in occupied Kramatorsk (Donbass).
The Ukrainian authorities have replaced trams with busses, which are said to be cheaper to run.
The trams will be sold and rails will be sold for scrap metal.
The rails have considerable wear and tear. The total length of the rail in the city is 34.7 kilometers, the cost of it, approximately from 15 to 17 million hryvnia. ($580k USD) – said the deputy director of tram and trolleybus management of Kramatorsk, Andrei Borokha.
