“You Failed us in Afghanistan” – McCain Lashes out at Trump

“The White House has failed to provide strategic guidance on Afghanistan issue since Trump took office”, US Senator and a Chairman of the  United States Senate Committee on Armed Services, John McCain said on Thursday.

“Trump should resolve the differences within his administration as soon as possible and adopt a policy and strategy that would secure our interests in Afghanistan and the region,” McCain was heard saying.

In addition, he said he would submit a plan for a U.S. strategy in the war in Afghanistan as an amendment to a defense authorization bill in September, should Trump not deliver his strategy for Afghanistan by the end of the month.
