Inter-jihadist battle in Damascus results in dead al-Nusra terrorists

September 17, 2017 – Fort Russ News – Paul Antonopoulos

It has been reported that seven terrorists belonging to al-Nusra have been killed in Damascus countryside, according to their own sources.

The report said that the seven were killed by Faylaq al-Rahman in Kafr Batna.

Faylaq al-Rahman are one of the strongest jihadist groups operating out of militant-held east Damascus and are led by former Syrian Army Captain, Abdul al-Nasr Shamir.

Al-Nusra and rival jihadist groups have been constantly battling amongst each other in eastern Damascus and Idlib province.

It remains to be seen how the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra front will react to the deaths.
