ISIS supporter who tried to assault a patrolling soldier in Paris arrested by French police

French security forces have arrested a man who tried to attack a patrolling soldier with a knife at Chatelet train and underground station in central Paris. 

Earlier on Firday, the French police arrested the attacker who chanted slogans in support of the terrorist group ISIS and tried to assault the soldier from behind. 

The attack that occurred at around 6:30 am at a major subway interchange, did not result in casualties, nor has the identity of the attacker been announced.

Last week on September 6th, the French police arrested a man after raiding an apartment in the village of Villejuif, located south of Paris, saying he was directly linked to ISIS. During the raid, the components, which are commonly used to make explosives (TATP that is frequently used by suicide bombers, including), were found.
