Major jihadist brigade leaves HTS terrorist coalition in Syria’s Hama province
September 29, 2017 – Fort Russ News – Paul Antonopoulos
One of the largest brigades in the
north Hama countryside belonging to the Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorist
coalition has announced that it is defecting.
The Liwa Shuhada al-Ghab announced its
defection from HTS citing recent events, most likely the huge failure in their
recent offensive against Syrian Army positions.

This would prove a huge blow to the
terrorist coalitin as the Liwa Shuhada al-Ghab terrorist outfit was one of the
strongest groups operating in Hama’s northern countryside.
The HTS is a coalition of terrorist
organisations led by the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Al-Nusra Front and was established
in 28 January 2017 to help better coordinate their war efforts against the Syrian
state.
