Syrian Forces advance against ISIS on the eastern bank of Euphrates

Syrian Forces made important gains on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River on Thursday.

Earlier, the army units managed to eliminate the last gatherings of ISIS terrorists in the village of Marat, while other army units continued to chase them in direction of the town of Khasham and the surround areas of Howeijet Saker.

Again, a large number of the terrorists were killed and their equipment destroyed.

Local sources from the southeastern countryside of Deir Ez Zour province said that new groups of ISIS terrorists were seen fleeing the district of Al Basira district.

Among the fleeing terrorists, there were several local leaders.
