Backed by the Russian Air Force, units of the Syrian Army continue their operations in the eastern province of Deir Ez Zour in order to secure the intersection point of the Syrian Army Regiment 137, located southwest of Deir Ez Zour city, after being able to advance for several kilometers further of both, eastern and western junctions.
According to the military sources, army units established control over the Raqqa bridge and the nearby gas station after departing their positions in Tel Sanof, located north of the Syrian Army Regiment 137 and advanced towards the axis of the Ayyash area, following heavy fighting with ISIS terrorists.
At Deir Ez Zour-Sukhneh axis, Syrian army proceeded north after taking control of Kabbaj village on the road leading to Al Shula area, with the army units gaining control over several more kilometers of land, following a backup support provided by the Russian Air Force.
