Ukraine stations troops in an active school

The Ukrainian command stationed part of a brigade on the territory of an operating school, Andrei Marochko, representative of the LPR People’s Militia said at a briefing on Monday.

“According to local residents, in the village of Teploe in the Stanichno-Lugansk district, one of the divisions of the same 14th brigade of the APU took over part of the building of the school and is using it to accommodate personnel in the number of 25-30 people,” Marachko said.

He noted that two Ural trucks and one infantry fighting vehicle were parked on the territory of the school.

“I want to emphasize the fact that the school is operational, on September 1 this year, it accepted about 100 pupils into its walls,” Marachko added.

The day before it became known that the Ukrainian armed forces, despite the “school armistice”, positioned a Hurricane rocket launcher system (MLRS) near the front lines and actively supplied cluster munitions for this type of weapon.
