Leader of terrorist outfit in Syria announces resignation

The leader of Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) has resigned as leader of the Al-Qaeda affiliated terrorist group as announced in a statement just some hours ago.
The 49-year old Abu Jaber Shayk from Maskanah in Aleppo countryside resigned without reasons being clear.

He is temporarily replaced by the military chief of HTS, Abo Mohamad al-Joulani.
It is not known yet who will replace Abu Jaber Shayk permanently or how the process will work to replace him.
HTS who are led by the Al-Nusra Front are considered one of the most powerful terrorist coalitions operating in Syria and are centered in the jihadist-held province of Idlib.
