The DPRK has threatened to arrange a nuclear catastrophe for the United States if the sanctions policy continues, and strategic bombers are sent to the Korean peninsula. This was reported in the statement of the Chairman of the DPRK Committee for Peace in the Asia-Pacific region.
The message says that the DPRK military forces are in full combat readiness. And the United States should bear in mind that the sanctions or presence of bombers are “acts of suicide that will lead to a nuclear catastrophe capable of turning the territory of the United States of America into a sea of fire.”
North Korea once again criticized the statements of US President Donald Trump regarding the DPRK and called him “a crazy American old man.”
The situation on the Korean peninsula remains extremely tense due to the fact that Pyongyang is actively developing its nuclear missile program. In July this year, the DPRK twice tested ballistic missiles, on August 29 and September 15, two launches of missiles over the territory of Japan were carried out. And on September 3, North Korea announced a successful test of the hydrogen bomb, which can be used in the warhead of an intercontinental ballistic missile.
