The US will send its aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan to the shores of the Korean peninsula in October, in order to conduct joint exercises with the South Korean fleet.

This is reported by “Ryongap” with reference to a source in the Ministry of Defense of South Korea.

“We are consulting on sending a ship group led by the aircraft carrier Ronald Reagan, for exercises in the Sea of ​​Japan, around October 15,” the source said.

It is noted that the group will also include a destroyer, a missile cruiser and an atomic submarine.

Earlier it was reported that the US and South Korea conducted the first near-air defense exercises.
