The visit of British Foreign Minister Boris Johnson to Russia is expected in the last week of December. This was stated by Deputy Foreign Minister Vladimir Titov.
When asked whether Johnson’s meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin could be held as part of this visit, Titov said: “There have been no such plans yet.”
Earlier it became known that Johnson would visit Moscow before the end of the year at the invitation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. In London, at the same time, they remind the public that Britain has deep disagreements with Russia on Syria and Ukraine.
Johnson’s last scheduled visit to Russia was cancelled at his own request.
