14-year-old Polina Bogussevich from Russia has won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest-2017 in Tbilisi. With the composition “Wings” the girl scored 188 points and took the first place.

The highest score possible – 12 points – the contestant was given by juries of four countries: Australia, Georgia, Macedonia and Portugal.

The Russian contestant was initially in second place to Grigol Kipshidze from Georgia. But this year, for the first time, the audience could influence the choice of the winner through online voting.

As a result of the votes received from the audiences of the 16 countries participating, Polina scored the highest.

The third place was taken by a representative of Australia, Isabella Clark.

Although we still wonder how Australia is relevant to ‘Eurovision’ =)
