Curfew imposed on Iraqi village to hunt out remaining ISIS cell

MOSUL, Iraq – The Iraqi army has imposed a curfew in a village to the south of Mosul on Sunday to hunt out an ISIS cell who launched an attack, a source said to Shafaq News.

“Troops imposed curfew in al-Eraij village in search for ISIS members, who launched an armed attack against the village on Saturday night,” the source said.

“The attack took place after four militants, who were hiding in residential houses to the south of Mosul, were arrested,” the source added.

ISIS have mostly been defeated in ISIS with only isolated pockets and cells of the terrorist organization remaining.
