DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – The Russian Helicopters Holding Company are expected to sign a contract with India at the Dubai Airshow 2017 to supply Mi-171A2, the company’s Director General Andrei Boginsky said on Sunday.
“At the show, we plan signing a contract with an Indian company on supply of Mil Mi-171A2, and certifying it on this market,” he said.
“Our plans are to begin certifying in Pakistan, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil,” he revealed.
“We expect that in the end of this year – early next year our joint venture producing Ka-226 will enter a contract with India’s Defense Ministry,” he said.
