Following Syrian Army’s elite unit capturing 250+ ISIS fighters, they offer to free some for captured “Russian brothers”

DEIR EZZOR, Syria – The ISIS Hunters, an elite unit of the Syrian Army with the sole concentration of fighting ISIS, released a Facebook post on its official page yesterday stating that “ISIS surrendered to ISIS Hunters after several days siege of Hawijah Kate island,” as reported by Fort Russ News yesterday.

“Hunters captured more than 250 ISIS militia fighters who capitulated with lots of 7.62 and 12.7 ammunition and enough food reserves after the last way to retreat was cut off,” the statement explained.

The impressive capture of the vast amounts of ISIS fighters has meant that the ISIS Hunters have a powerful leverage against against the terrorist organisation who have in their custody a number of Russian contractors that were captured some weeks back.

The ISIS Hunters announced on their Twitter account that they were prepared to exchange some of the ISIS fighters they captured for some of the “Russian brothers” that ISIS have in their custody.

It remains to be seen how ISIS will respond to their offer.
