NHL star Ovechkin creates #PutinTeam ahead of elections

The “Washington Capitals” NHL star, winger and captain Alexander Ovechkin, has announced the creation of an online community – #PutinTeam. Ovechkin stated of this on his Instagram account and official website.

“I am assured, that those of us who support Putin, there are many! So let’s unite and show everyone a great and strong Russia!” he wrote on Instagram.

#PutinTeam aims to unite internet users in any political messages they may have prior to the 2018 Presidential Election in Russia.
