Residents of occupied Avdeevka refuse to speak Ukrainian
Residents of the Ukraine-occupied city of Avdeevka accused the Ukrainian army of shelling residential homes. This was reported on his Facebook page by the Kiev propagandist Tsaplienko.
“A rally took place in Avdeevka on Saturday, November 18. Certain people told Pavel Malykhin, head of the local civil-military administration, that he was responsible for a broken gas pipeline,” Tsaplienko said.
The journalist stressed that the protesters refused to talk with Malykhin in Ukrainian.
“Pavel talked to people in the official Ukrainian, buit then provocateurs started yelling out of the crowd:
“We do not understand! Speak Russian!”
“It became absolutely clear that the gas pipeline was not the real issue: did I really feel the phantom pain of the spring of 2014? Did anyone forget that behind such cries came Russian tanks?” said the journalist.
We note that the Ukrainian city of Khmelnytsky became the first regional center in Ukraine, where they officially prohibited the study of the Russian language. The city department of education explained that it the complete ban on the study of the Russian language was on the initiative of the mayor, who later said that the Russian language is needed only to interrogate prisoners and they needed to study it in Ukraine only in intelligence schools
