The Iraqi Army reportedly wants to update its a bit dated arsenal that predominantly relies on T-72, T-55 and BMP-1.
Although Iraq, for the most part, has been purchasing Russian military equipment, its arsenal became loaded with American-made stuff after the fall of Saddam Hussein.
The T-90 battle tanks could play an important role in defeating terrorism problem in the country as they are capable of confusing majority of guided missile types.
