BEIRUT, LEBANON – According to a military source, the Russian Air Force has launched more than 100 airstrikes across northern Syria these past 48 hours, paving the way for the Syrian Arab Army offensive, which is expected to kick off shortly. This is the most amount of airstrikes that Russia has unleashed over the past 10 months.

Russian jets flying out of the Hmaymim Military Airport in Jableh, Latakia have over the past two days been relentlessly pounding the Al-Qaeda linked Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham terrorist group’s positions in Hama, Idlib, and Aleppo.
