The small missile carrying ship “Typhoon” of the project 22800 “Karakurt”, will be launched into the water on November 24. The ceremony will be held in St. Petersburg at the Pella plant.

The small ship is not called so accidentally. It is only 800 tons, about 67 meters in length, and 11 meters wide. Modest dimensions and “stealth technologies”, make it much less noticeable for enemy radars.

Yet not paying attention to the Karakurt project may be deadly dangerous. These ships are equipped with the Caliber missile system. In total, 8 launchers will be installed on the vessel, plus a powerful artillery installation, as well as a naval version of the “Pantsir-S1” anti-aircraft missile gun complex.
