TV presenter Ksenia Sobchak, who announced her intention to run for the Russian presidential election in 2018, told reporters that she does not sympathize with US President Donald Trump, but respects the choice of the American people and the electoral system of that country.
Sobchak believes that the political system is stronger than Trump, but ten years from today, “there will be no trace of Trump.”
She noted that in the United States there can not be “a situation in which Trump will sit there for 18 years.”
Sobchak stressed that an American politician can be elected for a maximum of two terms. Speaking about Russia, the TV presenter stressed that it does not matter who will be the next president of the country, the main thing is that there should be a change of the government.
The next presidential election in Russia will be held in March 2018, the election campaigning for which should start in December 2017. Sobchak positions himself as a candidate “against all”.
