Ukraine includes Crimea in its privatization program.

Kiev. The Verkhovna Rada adopted on first reading a bill introduced by Prime Minister Groisman on privatizing state property, which provides for the sale of property in the Crimea.

The bill was approved by 258 deputies, with 226 required.”This law regulates the legal, economic, and organizational basis for the privatization of state property, and property belonging to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea,” the draft says.

We recall that just as in July, Ukrainian President Poroshenko said that Europe should should return Crimea to Ukraine. At the same time, Ukraine itself is not abandoning attempts to get back the Crimea, taking more and more absurd steps. In June, Poroshenko instructed the Constitutional Commission to draft a bill on the status of the Crimea. In fact, even the international court of the United Nations has recognized Crimea as territory of Russia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier that Russia strictly observes the only legally established paragraph of the Budapest Memorandum. “The one thing that does not exist in the Budapest Protocol is the obligation of Russia or anyone else to agree with the results of an unconstitutional armed coup d’état in Ukraine. The authors of this coup declared their struggle with the Russian language and the struggle against the Russians in the Crimea as their first action. I quoted Dmitry Yarosh, who said that Russian should be expelled from the Crimea or destroyed,” he said in January 2017.

Note that the Budapest Memorandum * is the factor that Ukraine most often presses, trying to burden Russia with new sanctions because of the Crimea. This is regularly said by the head of the Ukraine Foreign Ministry Klimkin.
