SANA’A, Yemen – Scores of demonstrators staged a protest outside the United Nations’ office in Sana’a on Sunday.
They decried the stance of international organisation towards the deteriorating humanitarian situation in Yemen as the Saudi-led coalition blockade continues.
“We came to the symbolic memorials of a number of Yemeni children who killed 11 children on International Children’s Day, on November 20, in flagrant violation of all human rights,” Noura Al Jarwi, Women for Peace Initiative spokesperson.
“The Saudi coalition is committing horrendous crimes and war crimes against children, and the Yemeni people in general,” she continued.
