DAMASCUS, Syria – Not long after terrorist formations attacked Syrian Army checkpoints near Zulaiqat north of the Christian village of Mahardeh, the Russian Air Force was quick to intervene and help in foiling the joint Jaish al-Izza and Al-Nusra assault, Al-Masdar News reported.
The Russian Air Force conducted over 50 airstrikes with Su-25 jets targeting terrorist positions in Kafr Zita and Latamina, known as the stronghold of the Free Syrian Army Jaish al-Izza faction, the report continued to explain.
Al-Masdar News then explained that the Syrian Army’s elite Tiger Forces near the end of their preparations for their massive upcoming offensive in Abu Dali axis.
They are still awaiting orders to storm the region according to the report.
