KIEV, Ukraine – Mikheil Saakashvili, ex-president of Georgia who later turned governor of Odessa region, has continued to lead a campaign for the impeachment of Ukrainian President Poroshenko despite the latter making him governor of the region to begin with.
He was detained by Security Service of Ukraine and has been taken to a hospital where he was treated, according to David Sakvarelidze, a close associate of Saakashvili, strana.ua reported.

This is his second he has been arrested in a matter of days on the charges of reason and cooperation with a criminal organization. Earlier he was freed by his supporters from a vehicle that was transporting him to a detention center.
He then spent two nights in a tent with protestors and got a bad cold, resulting in him needing to be hospitalized.
Saakashvili is famous for his blatant lies about Russia beginning the 2008 war in South Ossetia.
