ALEPPO, Syria – At least three people were reportedly killed and several more were injured when terrorist forces fired missiles and artillery shells at residential neighborhoods in the southwestern part of Aleppo on Thursday, according to local media.

The attack took place just two streets away from where thousands were celebrating the first year anniversary since the city was retaken by the government.

According to a local Safwan Khazzany, “Two girls died and a boy was injured in the head.”

Today marks a year since the government recaptured eastern Aleppo, therefore liberating the entire city.
