The senior coach of the Russian Paralympic team for skiing and biathlon, Irina Gromova, said that athletes have been forbidden by the IOC not only to use national colors, but even to mention what country they are from.

Last week, Russian skiers and biathletes, claiming to participate in the Paralympic Games-2018, fulfilled their qualification standard. 34 Russian sportsmen got access to the Olympics, which will be held in March.

“We can not use national colors, wear a flag, say that we are from Russia, even in social networks,” In addition, the coach of Paralympic athletes reported that attitudes towards Russian athletes from foreign colleagues had worsened. “If before everyone talked normally with our athletes, now they just pass by,” she added.
