The joint center for control and coordination in the DPR provided video evidence, which was filmed by a CCTV camera at the Donetsk filtering station, as the Ukrainian army fired phosphoric projectiles at a strategic object.
“The Ukrainian armed forces have once again demonstrated their “adherence” to international law by firing at the Donetsk filtering station with phosphorous ammunition, endangering not only the lives of civilians, but also the environmental situation in the Donbass as a whole.
We call on the OSCE to record the use of phosphorus ammunition near the critical infrastructure facility – to go to the site of the shelling and take soil samples, and to give a public assessment of such actions in terms of international humanitarian law and protection of civilians.”
