Four ceasefire violations by terrorist forces in Syria recorded by Russia

DAMASCUS, Syria – The Russian Defense Ministry reported on Monday that there has been at least four ceasefire violations by terrorist forces in Syria over the past 24 hours.

In addition, Turkish observers recorded one ceasefire violation.

“The Russian part of the joint Russian-Turkish commission… has registered four violations in the Aleppo, Homs and Damascus provinces,” the ministry said.

“The Turkish part of the commission reported one shooting incident in the Damascus province,” the ministry also revealed.

In May, the Syrian ceasefire guarantor nations, Russia, Iran and Turkey, signed a memorandum in Astana on setting up four de-escalation zones in Syria, TASS explained.
