The militants of the terrorist group ISIS have an established supply of fourth generation of mines.

During mine clearing of territories in Syria and Iraq, specialists have found mines with stamped hulls and rubber gaskets indicating factory production.

The devices were equipped with a system of protection against de-mining, but sappers managed to disarm them. The territories controlled by ISIS  can be surrounded by fields with hundreds or even thousands of similar devices.

“The hull of one such mine, containing up to seven kilograms of explosives, is capable o detonating an entire car. Activation occurs when the load is more than 30 kilograms.”

On December 15, it was reported that the weapons delivered to the Syrian rebels by the United States could fall into the hands of Islamic state militants.
