SANA’A, Yemen – According to media agency ‘Sputnik,’ at least 16 people were killed and seven more wounded in recent Saudi-led airstrikes in Yemen’s capital of Sana’a and the province of Al-Hudaydah, Monday.
The footage shows ruined buildings in Sanaa in the vicinity of the Egyptian tomb garden, with debris scattered around and what appears to be blood stains on the ground, where at least eight people were killed and five wounded.
Another eight people were reportedly killed in the province of Al Hudaydah in Western Yemen, with two more injured.
The Saudi-led coalition intervened in war-torn Yemen in March 2015, in a bid to reinstate the government of ousted President Abd-Rabbuh Mansour Hadi.
