South Korea, US launch joint airforce drills to intimidate North Korea

SEOUL, South Korea – South Korea and the US launched major combined airforce drills involving hundreds of aircraft from Kunsan Air Base on Monday.
The annual ‘Vigilant Ace’ drills include 230 aircraft including six F-22 and 18 F-35 stealth fighter jets.

A total of 12,000 US military personnel are taking part in the exercises, which will last five days.
