A representative center of the Donetsk People’s Republic will open on December 9 in the city of Helsinki.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Donetsk, the center was founded in the autumn of 2016 and carried out some functions throughout the years until now. The office is headed by Finnish political scientist Johan Beckmann.
The diplomatic mission added that about 50 guests, including representatives of political and public forces of Finland, were invited to the opening ceremony. As part of the event, an online video-conference is planned between Donetsk and Helsinki.
