MOSCOW, Russia – Russian presidential aide for military and technical cooperation Vladimir Kozhin said on Thursday that Russia will grant Turkey a loan so that it can purchase the S-400 air defense missile system.

The first deliveries of the famous missile defense system are expected to arrive in Turkey in late 2019-early 2020.

“All the issues have been resolved and I discussed this theme while literally entering this hall, Kozhin said.

“The deliveries will begin in late 2019 – early 2020,” he added.

The delivery of S-400 air defense missile systems to Turkey is a deal worth over $2 billion.
