With ISIS virtually defeated, Syrian Army begins moving troops to fight Al-Qaeda affiliates in Idlib

DAMASCUS, Syria – The Syrian Army has begun moving troops from eastern Syria where ISIS are virtually defeated, to the province of Hama on the outskirts of jihadist-held Idlib province, a military source told Al-Masdar News on Friday.

According to the military source, many units have begun leaving the Deir Ezzor province for the northern countryside of Hama, the Al-Masdar report said.
The report continued to explain that the soldiers leaving Deir Ezzor are heading to the Ma’an front in northern Hama with the primary objective for these troops will be to recapture the town of Abu Dali, which is located at an important crossroad.
