SANA’A, Yemen – With confusion whether former president Ali Abdullah Saleh is dead after he betrayed the Houthi resistance, the Hadi-government that is internationally recognized and based in Aden, has declared his forces to march on Houthi-controlled Sana’a, the capital of Yemen.
The Houthis are a Shi’ite militia and are allied with Yemeni tribes to resist Saudi aggression on Yemen.

Saleh was part of this coalition before he attempted a power grab and kick out the Houthis from Sana’a, that spectacularly failed.
Rumours are circulating that he has been killed, but this cannot be verified at this moment.
The Saudi-led coalition has ordered all civilians to go 500m away from Houthi positions in Sana’a as they prepare to bombard the city with missiles.
