UPDATE: Israel DID NOT attack Syria today. Details can be read here.
LATAKIA, Syria – Israel has just attacked a Christian village in Syria’s Mediterranean province of Latakia, Al-Masdar News CEO Leith Fadel said on his twitter.
The attack targeted the Christian town of Slinfah in Latakia’s northeast countryside.
It is not known yet for certain how many casualties there are and why Israel targeted Slinfah, but initial reports claim that Israel hit a weapons depot.
It is also not confirmed yet whether it was a missile strike or an air strike.
Fort Russ News will continue to report on this incident as details become clearer, but it seems likely to be further details from an earlier Fort Russ News report where Syrian officials claimed an explosion was a “technical issue”.
