DEIR EZZOR, Syria – ISIS have announced a new major-offensive against the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the eastern Syrian province of Deir Ezzor. The terrorist organization named the new operation as “The revenge for the virtuous woman.”
Since launching their operation, ISIS has recaptured many positions of the US-backed SDF in several towns and villages at the eastern Euphrates river bank.
ISIS has so far killed 40 SDF fighters in the first day of the operation.

This spells bad news for the SDF as the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), who lead the SDF, are facing a crisis as Turkey and its proxy militants aim to storm the Afrin Canton in northern Aleppo countryside in the coming days when the weather in Syria calms down.
