A well-known lawyer and public figure in Egypt, Mortada Mansour, who plans to take part in the upcoming presidential elections, in the event of his victory, intends first of all to prohibit citizens from using the social network Facebook.

In addition, if Mansour becomes president of Egypt, he promised to tell the US President Donald Trump that he is “a madman, from whom all troubles start.”

As for domestic policy, the candidate for the highest state office intends to solve the problem of unemployment (for many years the Egyptian authorities have not been able to cope with the rapid population growth and, as a result, provide jobs), open new factories, change the education system, provide for street children.

Mansour, a lawyer, a parliamentarian and president of the Zamalek football club, is known for his attacks and insults of his colleagues. In 2012, Mansour already tried to run for president with the Egyptian National Party, but the electoral commission would not register him. In 2014, Mansour again participated in the election of the head of state, but immediately after registration, the candidate refused to run against Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, who eventually was elected president.

The election of the president of Egypt will be held on March 26-28.
