Not Israel, not a “technical fault” – terrorist group claims responsibility for explosion on Syrian Army that killed three soldiers

LATAKIA, Syria – Yesterday much confusion reigned about an explosion that killed Syrian Army members in a village in the Syrian Mediterranean province of Latakia.

Although a Syrian military official claimed the explosion was due to a “technical issue”, a terrorist group has since claimed the attack that hit a weapons depot.
The Abo Ammarah group announced responsibility for yesterday’s attack without elaborating how. It is believed to have been done with a drone.
There were also false reports yesterday that Israel had conducted the attack on the weapons depot. Details can be read here.
