A US Defense logistics agency intends to study the infrastructure of five European countries – Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Finland and Poland – on their readiness for wartime conditions, says a document obtained by RT.

The study is said to be necessary for the Pentagon to understand the logistics networks and supply chains of various products in these countries to prepare its own industry for operation in wartime and emergency situations.

The final reports should contain the following information: data on local and regional sources of water and food, fuel, medicines, industrial equipment and clothing.

The Pentagon is also interested in information about building materials and equipment. In addition to the above, the reports should contain information on local production capacities and mobilization opportunities.

Additionally, the US is compiling a list of all the transport infrastructure of Eastern European – ports, railways, highways, airports, bridges and ferry crossings.
