MOSUL, Iraq – The fourth Bridge of Mosul nears competition with Iraqi government workers planning to expedite repairs after the bridge is operational, according to Al-Sura News.
All of Mosul city’s bridges were destroyed in the war against ISIS, the report continued.
Mosul is dissected by eastern and western regions by the Euphrates River.
Both ISIS and the US-led coalition destroyed all the bridges in the battle for the city last year. This was in the effort to hinder supplies and movement of men from either side of the city.
