Ukrainians are repeatedly complaining to the police when fellow citizens listen to Russian music.

“For example, when bar patrons are watching Russian channels, or neighbours sing along to Russian music. We react to all cases. If this is prohibited, then we take measures, according to the legislation.” – the representative of Kiev police, Nikolay Zhukovich, declared.

According to him, if there are signs of “separatism” in the actions of a person, the information is transferred to the SBU.

“Sometimes the motive for such appeals to law enforcement agencies is revenge for something. People, for example, quarrel and in revenge came up with the idea that the rival is a separatist. We check this information”- he explained.
