Taliban claims responsibility for 43 dead in hotel attack

There are 43 casualties in the aftermath of the armed militants’ attack on the Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan. This is reported by the Tolo News television channel referring to a source in law enforcement agencies. Earlier, 12 dead were reported.

According to Tolo News, the siege lasted 18 hours, by five militants that belong to the radical movement Taliban. 

Armed militants entered the Intercontinental Hotel on the evening of January 20 – 126 guests managed to escape.
