Mikhail Saakashvili, the former head of Odessa Regional State Administration, said that at the moment Ukraine is a failed state.
“Our structural bodies are collapsed, the state and institutions do not work for us, Ukraine is now, unfortunately, a failed state, let’s tell the truth. A state that can not protect citizens, which allows oligarchs to plunder citizens through tariffs, where everything is monopolized in the hands of oligarchs’ families and in a country where law enforcement agencies are used to preserve lascivious power and further robbery of the people, can not be considered an accomplished state.” Saakashvili stated.
Saakashvili is a stateless person, with aspirations for the Presidency of Ukraine. If your own country doesn’t want you as a citizen – it is especially interesting to run for the presidency of another, despite the sometimes truthful rhetoric.
