Ukraine will apply legal measures against German companies Adidas and Volkswagen for their work in the Crimea. This was stated on Wednesday by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavel Klimkin at a joint briefing with his German counterpart Sigmar Gabriel.

“You know that we have done a lot to ensure that Russian fraud, as in the case of the delivery of Siemens turbines to the territory of the occupied Crimea, never happened again … I believe that this has become a sad lesson for all German and not only German business, and now there are certainly companies, such as Volkswagen and Adidas, which allow their retailers, to work in the Crimea on the territory of Russia. We will certainly get them, not only politically, but also legal methods.” – said Klimkin.

At the end of December 2017, the Security Service of Ukraine announced its intention to check the work of a number of German companies in the Crimea. Among them – DHL Express, Adidas and Puma.
