Ukrainian security forces have fired on a civilian bus at a specially designated checkpoint for traffic, between the Donbass and the contact line with Ukraine. “This is the result of Kiev’s adoption of the law on Reintegration of Donbass”, as stated by the head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic Alexander Zakharchenko. He added that the shelling was intentional and aimed at civilians, “clearly not a stray bullet.” No casualties have been confirmed.

Kiev, in turn, accused Donbass militiamen of shelling – their own people.
Kiev has recently adopted the law on the Reintegration of Donbass, which gives full powers to the President of Ukraine to utilise the Armed Forces without seeking parliamentary consent, nor declaring a state of war.
