Ukrainian journalist threatened for publishing Poroshenko trip to the Maldives

The Ukrainian journalist who went public with the details of Petro Poroshenko’s vacation in the Maldives, Mikhail Tkach has complained of threats to his life. This was writted by Tkach on his Facebook page on Friday.

Earlier, an investigation into Poroshenko’s $500,000 vacation to the Maldives was published. It was also revealed that the president holidayed under the name of ‘Mr. Petro Incognito’.

“Today is a week since the investigation went pubic. Throughout the week they have tried to hack my mail, messengers, sent fake emails with fake payments, warned me that I’m being watched.”

The journalist stressed that he still has not received a response from the president of Ukraine to the official request about how much exactly Poroshenko spent on the vacation and who paid for it.
